Bacterial vaginosis is usually treated with antibiotiocs. There are over-the-counter treatments which either alter the acidity in your vagina, thereby making it difficult for harmful bacteria to grow. There are also 'probiotic' treatments which alter the balance of bacteria in your vaginal tract. There is no proven evidence to suggest these treatment actually work so do discuss with your pharmacist before selecting the most appropriate treatment for you.
